Our future is a new home, large enough to accommodate our needs, yet small enough to provide the personal attention each woman and child deserves.
The New Hope Cottage will triple our capacity to care for women with children. There will be nine family rooms with a special recreation area for the children upstairs. For the first time, we will be able to offer on-site childcare with spacious areas indoors and out-of-doors.
From the moment a woman and child enter the doors, they will be welcomed to a safe and secure place. Caring and trained staff will assess their situation in a private counseling room. They will then be given a place to reside appropriate to their circumstances.
The New Hope Cottage will Include:
- On-site classes for parenting, relapse prevention and discipleship
- A spacious multi-purpose dining room
- A special area for chapel
- A state-of-the-art kitchen
- Increased storage for clothing and food
Hope Cottage will remain committed to giving women and children the personal attention they need for transformation through individual counseling, ministry and prayer.
Your contribution will make a difference not just in bricks and mortar, but in the transformation of the lives of women and children. Through Hope Cottage they are sheltered and given a future with faith, hope and love.
It is not overly dramatic to say that we have saved lives. Your gift to the New Hope Cottage will make a loving difference for years to come.
Hope Cottage is a 501 (c) 3 organization as a part of the Sunshine Rescue Mission Inc. Donations to the campaign are tax deductible as provided by law. Checks should be made to: Hope Cottage (note Capital Campaign in memo field). All gifts will be used for the purpose designated by the donor.
